Come share in the Love, Light and Joy with the YK Choral Society this weekend--concerts at St. Pat’s Church on Friday Dec 12 at 8 pm and Saturday Dec 13 at 2 pm. Despite my serious expression (I can’t help it when I play), it is such a joy to play piano with this choir!!

I supported the 2026-27 GNWT capital budget because of its $50M commitment to housing, and the $420K commitment to conduct overdue assessments on school buildings across the NWT, including Yellowknife, so we gain a clear picture of the priorities for repair, maintenance and replacement. ... 1/2

We need a huge shift for the GNWT emergency management system to be trusted by residents or local governments. The GNWT is not fully appreciating the scale of shift needed it will take more political pressure from me and my MLA colleagues in coming weeks.
