I need to be vulnerable for a moment: I need help. I've been out of work since July 2025, and I'm running low on funds. My wife has been out of work for the past 6 weeks due to daily seizures, and I'm struggling hard both financially and mentally.

At this point, even if I were to get hired today for a position, I still need to get caught up a fair bit. We've had, this month alone, 3 separate ER visits for Katie's medical issues, and I seriously have no clue what else I can do. Thankfully, my bills are paid for this month, but next month?

Does anyone who follows me here suffer from epilepsy? My wife has been having more and more seizures as of late, and her GP has been... less than helpful, to say the least.

I'm hoping that I may be able to get at least an idea of what I could do to try and help her out a bit.

Even at this point, I can't walk into my local Dollar General to get Pokemon cards. Every time they get new stock, someone comes in and buys EVERY SINGLE PACK. It's so weird to see something like this explode, and it sucks.
