Just finished Black Pill by @ellereeve.bsky.social. I've always appreciated her journalism. I was humbled by the illumination this book offered me. I had been ashamed to delay reading it, but given the context of our current reality, maybe now is the time.

The battle of our day is no longer about Democrats versus Republicans or left versus right.

The choice right now is democracy or dictatorship. And we're sliding faster than I ever thought possible into the latter.

Everyone must choose which side they’re on. Now.

Yesterday's "Day Without Immigrants" protests around the country underscore a crucial truth: no matter what you hear on Fox News, immigrants are good for the economy and our society.

This is a word of warning to all of us. Left, right, or anything else.
