On the next election cycle when the right wing claims somehow to need more power to do more winning, when in fact theyve wielded every state institution and many new media institutions in lockstep, and become hated for it, remember this obvious moment. The right wing openly pretends to be the driving force of US prosperity and history and they are only right in that they openly push for imperial and colonial projects abroad, and tax breaks at home, that enrich the Epstein class. They fail everyone else every time they have power. Media forgets.

It is actually a lot easier to make the case for why we should do it if we don’t make it a strictly economic argument. Like if Kotek came out w her face painted a Blazers logo and said “the blazers are going to win it all” I would respect her argument more. Wyden might do it, he loves #RipCity
