I've never understood the weirdly common belief that the most complex storytelling medium ever created is somehow a lesser form of writing.

I'm always a bit stunned that the little community paper I worked at for years had higher editorial standards than many current major newspapers.

I've never quite figured out how to articulate my belief that storytelling is just math as well, but I'm convinced of it. A good story is a balanced equation.

Rewriting and debugging are the exact same process.
I think learning to code, even just at a hobbyist level, is super valuable for writers. You're using all the same muscles.
