Sort of. My point is there were no addicts before the Industrialists created the market and thus demand by giving it away for free then fully monetising in time. AI is treading a similar path. Give it away. Embed it in everything and create a market and thus the demand. Mercantalism 101

This tactic is century's old. Worked very well in the creation of the global drug trade of the British Empire by creating new markets and thus addicts for Opium. AI is no different. Once embedded its very difficult to pivot or wean off the product by which time the market is secured
