I had to explain to my mom that Elon isn’t the VP. But she assures me that what’s he’s doing is perfectly legal because every president, esp. Obama, has done the exact same thing according to her local news station. Mind you this news station had an anchor that couldn’t do basic math 🙃

Went to work today despite feeling like poop. I had an important meeting I couldn’t miss because it was all about my students’ futures. I’m very happy with how it went. Now one more meeting tomorrow and then I can take off if I’m still sick 😅

My cough hasn’t gone away. Spent most of last night coughing instead of sleeping. But, I need to go into work because we have an important meeting this morning. So, here’s to being miserable 🥂

Why do Xtians feel compelled to adorn themselves in crosses and carry devotionals everywhere they go?
Could you imagine if I were to wear an inverted pentagram or baphomet to work 🫣
Though I do have an urn I sometimes wear with “hail thyself” engraved on it but I never wear it to work.

Channeled some of my energy into decluttering. I now have a tidy printing station in the corner instead of the chaos it previously was 🤣

My kid has been saving her allowance for months now. She decided that she wanted to buy Ooblets with her own money today. It’s so cute watching her bounce around the house being so proud of herself for buying something she wanted with her own money.

I did the paperwork to move my direct deposit to a credit union. My local bank kept allowing my account to overdraw on purchases I could not have made because they refuse to give me a new debit card. It’s been a frustrating battle. In Jan, they overdrew me by over $600. My credit union would never.

Ok. I’m officially sick and not lazy. As the day has progressed, I’ve developed a cough, congestion, and a stuffy but still somehow runny nose. This is in addition to the bone deep exhaustion and body aches…

I took today off of work because I was feeling off. Almost like I have absolutely not energy and my bones ache. I’m spending the day curled up on the couch playing Dreamlight Valley and am finding it very difficult to focus. I’m deeply tired and I don’t know why 🙃 Maybe sick? Maybe lazy?

Im a dweeb and I read webtoons. 2 webtoons I’m reading/read have featured the protagonist setting up a savings account that they deposit into whenever they’re upset at their bosses
I might take this idea but adapt it for whenever I’m angry at the government 👀

I have written 527 words so far today. I would love to become one of those writers who writes thousands of words a day, but my brain doesn’t work like that. I thrive on short bursts of motivation 🤣

Just lost my temper at my dad, his stance is that none of the things Trump is doing is actually happening because his news hasn’t reported it 🙄
His news also says the the Nazi Salute wasn’t one because the news says so.

Now that I’ve given up on TikTok my desire to create video content is just not there. I originally started my TikTok account to build a following, so when my book is ready to sell, I would have an audience. Now I just don’t care. I’ll continue writing my book, but it will be banned immediately 🤷🏻♀️

Borrowed Bookshops & Bonedust from my local library using the Libby app. It’s a fun story about an adventuring Orcish woman who discovers her love of reading after being injured on duty and meeting a rather interesting bookshop owner.
I recommend it for anyone looking for a fun escape.

Borrowed Bookshops & Bonedust from my local library using the Libby app. It’s a fun story about an adventuring Orcish woman who discovers her love of reading after being injured on duty and meeting a rather interesting bookshop owner.
I recommend it for anyone looking for a fun escape.

I’m so tired. I’m sitting here on my planning period doing nothing. I have so much work to do, but I just can’t bring myself to do any of it.

Ok. So I got this month’s paycheck. I will promptly be spending some of it on chicken wire, a staple gun, staples, zip ties, screws, and wood. For the next month, you can find me in the backyard trying to figure out how to make a chicken coop for as cheaply as possible.
