Starting to feel like US politicians at least at the federal level shouldn't have full 1A rights. Once elected they have too much power and responsibility. Reckless statements are basically gross negligence.

Campaigning is another much harder issue to sort out. Definitely needs reform though.

Man does the EU have to start doing military preparedness drills around Greenland like the US does around Taiwan just to convince these people to STFU about annexing it already.

The US can't afford mental health care for its citizens and gun regulations are impossible so instead we have corporate mandated training that tries to turn you into an even worse than normal cop through paranoia over your coworkers behavior and the "extreme danger gap" BS.

It occurs to me that when confronted with something clearly disqualifying a candidate that is motivated by doing the work for the people would bow out and find some other way to help. That could include supporting another candidate (see NYC primary).

Refusing to go feels like ego and entitlement.

This may be wrong but it seems like masked law enforcement would potentially violate procedural due process and thus be unconstitutional.

If you can't be sure of who arrested you then you can't call them as a witness or present evidence concerning them that could be exculpatory.
