We read and discussed “A modest proposal” in a lesson on satire… it’s when I fell in love with satire, but it went over some kids’ heads

Yeah… it’s supposed to become your identity in the church, and you’re supposed to spend your life attempting to emulate your chosen namesake. Guess I’ve got some work to do.

I also had to write an essay. I was specifically looking for an Irish saint. This information was not out there back then. But it was meant to be!
