Morning Spew for the night owls.

On Monday, Andrew Cuomo's mayoral campaign got some good news and some bad news. The good news—$1.5 million in public matching funds from the CFB. The bad news: The board withheld $622,000 more over alleged red-boxing. That, and more links!

This is the 20th straight hour of Booker speaking. This is the energy and honesty we need in a Senate leader, not what we have been getting. bsky.app/profile/atru...
Booker: "I confess that I have been imperfect. I confess that I've been inadequate to the moment. I've confess that the Democratic Party has made terrible mistakes that gave a lane to this demagogue. I confess we all must look in the mirror and say 'we will do better.'"

Just because you didn't like #Severance ep. 8 does not mean it was bad. Not my fave but it needed to be tonally different since it follows a different character to a new place, a different time. We need to understand why she did what she did. Did it accomplish that task? Yes. That’s a good episode.

Boy, what Sissy said about “fealty” gets to the heart of the matter.

We give our ideas, our labor, and years of our life to corporations. They cash in and we eke out a living w/ what they’re willing to pay us, which is rarely what we’re worth. They pocket the difference as our “fealty.” #Severance
