Cast vs. machined rigging plates – do you know the difference? Until touring Subspace_designs last weekend, I definitely didn't. The cast rigging plate shown in this clip broke when tested to just 900lbs, and could get even weaker over time.

Before recently, I had honestly never seriously considered rigging plates as a potential failure point. I figured, it's metal, it's strong, whatever 🤷‍♀️

I learned so much touring subspace_designs in Portland!

Nun habit ➡️ devil horns while self-suspending...a lot of practice and troubleshooting and elastic and hair clips and even some two-part epoxy was involved 🙃
