I'm having to shelve OAD (art once a day). 🤕

I'll still practicing a lil' in downtime, but between a hectic new year, still being sick, & focusing more on video editing/writing, I don't want to force myself to draw.

I'll still share whatever I make, just more slowly. I even have a YouTube now. 💕

Yttakin are a xenotype (species) from Rimworld that resemble hairy yeti-human hybrids. Ghouls are its undead horrors. you get the idea, and I couldn't leave it at a sketch, not for a cryptid! I have far too many hours with this game, and binge-listening to Hazzor's playthroughs gave me yet another brainworm for a future colony of my own

two whole weeks!! more basics, back to the loomis head and some skull deconstruction, helps a lot with figuring out where things are meant to go art is always a process, if you don't like how the first one came out, you can always try again!

a two-year old brainworm wouldn't leave me alone after OAD 13, so I thought it was time to put these last two weeks of practice to their paces ..and LOOK at them!! ;w; I am in love with these two and I can't fully express how happy I am that taking a sledgehammer to my artblock has been working out so well ten years ago was the best time, but the second best time is today!

feeling more confident with bodies, now we move to faces, my bane the asaro head is a simplified deconstruction of the human head, normally used for lighting and shadows practice, but is actually really good to learn the proportions of the face! HassaneArt (youtube/insta) has a great tutorial on eyes, so I did one practice from him to finish today c:
