And the treatment is an actual VACCINE. A very long incubation period allows this quick fix for people who have had contact with rabid animals.

I’ve read that they’re rolling out an mRNA rabies vax for dogs this year or next year.
I DO hope that traditional non-mRNA vax remains available for those who don’t trust the mRNA.
