Someone asked if we had any cat pictures, but the best I can do today is deer. We surprised them raiding our bird feeder, but obviously they are not terribly scared of us.

This is an astonishing sentence for a lawyer to have written.
Constitutional principles don’t change based on the politics of the president.
(At least, not until that President has had the opportunity to appoint enough Supreme Court justices to swing the Court’s ideology in his favor.)

Our cat has been told he should weigh about 12.5 pounds. He gets strictly controlled portions from an automatic feeder twice a day. On Saturday the vet confirmed that he managed to gain 1/4 of a pound since his last visit.
The cat is unrepentant. I suspect he has his own food hoard somewhere.

I’ve seen this claim on other social media. No source, just a Fox News emblem. And of course, difficult for ordinary people to fact check now since USAID’s website essentially just says, “we’re shut down.”

This morning I woke up to more than a dozen new followers, and I realized that they’re all weirdly similar. The profiles are all proudly liberal and they each have either no posts/replies or exactly one post/reply that’s one of 3-4 anti-Trump memes. I have to assume they’re bots.

🍽️ I started baking bread in 2021 when a friend gave me some of her pandemic sourdough starter. Along the way it evolved into me doing a loaf of sandwich bread once a week. I usually mix the dough Saturday evening and bake around noon on Sunday.
