Do watch this for three main reasons…

- she exposes how full of hot air Goodwin is and how he contributes nothing new / useful

- she makes excellent points about some of the realities of asylum and how these are ignored by the ‘GB-News’ right-wing

- she calls Matt Goodwin a soggy-trousered twat.

Tough talk won’t stop people making dangerous journeys, nor will detaining people who are being exploited by their employers.

This Govt. should tackle the whole host of ways people can lose their immigration status - from eye-watering fees to a lack of legal help.

In the late 90s & early 2000s we in the UK received (very roughly) 80,000 asylum applications per year.
Mainly people escaping Balkan wars.

Today in these “unprecedented” times of “invasion” by small boat… we receive pretty much the exact same numbers.

Had you been taken in?
