Trump will eventually be gone. However his restructuring of the US political system will remain. What happens, America, when MAGA has a new person in place that is against them and has unlimited power.
The current America is startling. The future of America is terrifying.
Open your eyes America.

What are the odds for North Korea firing off a test missile, just to remind everyone that they're still there. Iran can't hog the spotlight, can they?

Can Pierre Poilievre please finally put his glasses back on, now that his run at PM is over? Can we as a nation at least agree that the glasses were a good thing?

Make no mistake. Trump can't legally stay in power beyond 4 years, but will find a way to pull a 'Palpatine' by invading Canada and staying in power.
Canada is at risk in a major way. If Russia and Europe go at it, Canada will be easy pickings for him.
Beware.

What if we let Russia or China put some Military bases on Canadian soil.. say... 25km or so North of the US border.
What do you think would happen? (I'm not saying it's a good idea.. Just fun to think about)

The people of 1930's Germany didn't stand up and stop them. Look how it went.

The people of post Soviet era Russia didn't stand up and stop them. Look how it's going.

The people of the USA... are.. what? Waiting for it to be too late?

What do they say about not learning from history?

Image Comics is taking the opportunity to promote a comic that highlights the US invading Canada. During a time of relative peace this would have been fine, but right now, calling it bad taste doesn't even begin to describe it. (I didn't post a link to it, because i don't want to.)

Pre-dating even Wonder Woman, Canada's 'Nelvana of the Northern Lights' debuted in Triumph Comics back in 1941. The Inuit Demigoddess is one of Canada's earliest Super Heroes.

Here is the list of items Canada is slapping retaliatory tariffs on first.
Seems like items we can source here, or already have. The building hardware worries me, as most homes are made using hardware from Simpson Strongtie in California. That could impact housing. Not by tons, but enough to feel.
