Well, we live in Tunbridge Wells and have to boil our tap water for the forseeable future. At least we can now shower and flush the toilet. 🙂

Thx Brian. A couple of weeks later my wife tripped over a bad paving stone and fractured her shoulder, so we were back in A&E again (different hospital; we were out and about). She is recovering well and doing physio. It was lucky I had recovered and was able to drive her to hospital.

Any PR value there might have been from a token gesture like this has been lost by the ridiculous fudge of Andrew being allowed to issue an 'honourable victim' statement that he won't use his titles, rather than The King issuing a statement stripping him of his titles. It has backfired.

Because the largely right-wing media will take any opportunity to attack the BBC, even though, in this case, it is at odds with their 'anti-woke' agenda. If GW was on another station, they would be defending his gross behaviour.
