Hubby's gone golfing with his brother, so im at home. I was going to spend my day reading, but I've had a really bad headache so instead I decided to watch my silly little dramas tiktok keeps throwing at me like. And honestly its been such a great time 😂 the drama!

I'm coping with my grief by being in denial. I'm not physically there with my family so I'm not experiencing what they are. But I know the second I walk into that house it's going to hit me hard.

I started keeping a reading log a few years ago, just to see how many books I read that year. It's been something I've really enjoyed keeping track of (and it motivates me to get through my never ending TBR) and I can proudly say I read 85 books this year 💕

My BIL got me dark chocolate covered pretzels. I knew immediately my husband would stay out of them (he hates dark chocolate) but he tried one anyway. And i was right 😂 he won't be eating all of them (like he basically did my almonds)

I'm so thankful that I got to see my grandma when she was at her healthiest after her diagnosis. But I'm so devastated and heart broken that I didn't get to see her again and the next time I'm visiting family she won't be there.

I really hate being so far away from family when so much is happening, and the only thing I can offer is a phone call while I figure out flights that won't cost me an arm, a leg, and selling all my internal organs in the black market.

Accomplishment of the day: I decluttered and cleaned out my dresser. I had a lot of pajama pants that just don't fit and I don't reach for. She's no longer bursting at the seams. So yippee for me!

My husband surprised me with this when he got home from work today 😭💕 I've been looking for this for so long. I wanted it purely because I thought it would be hilarious because the hubby was a car mechanic for a long time and purple is one of my fave colors
