ADHD kid here who did get beat, with a belt, among other things. Now, an adult on medication. I wasn't diagnosed until my mid-30s. The belt didn't beat the ADHD out of me. I would have been so much happier had I been medicated. My life didn't have to be that hard. I didn't have to struggle so much.
