I’ll be thinking about The Brutalist for weeks to come after viewing it yesterday. It’s a film about postwar architecture and psychology. I hope Brady Corbet makes more films in the future.

RIP, David Lynch. Truly one of the great weirdoes in film and television history.

I’ve got a small criterion collection going. I have my eye on Fire Walk With Me, but I can’t justify $50 for a blu-ray yet. I have Mullholland Dr., Cure, and The Innocents (1961). I’d like any recommendations for similar films in the criterion collection.

I watched Cure (1997) for the first time this past weekend, and I absolutely loved it. It was atmospheric, disturbing, and cerebral. I’m hoping to find more films like this in 2025.

I’m still shocked that Ripley (Netflix series) didn’t get as much attention as Baby Reindeer. Every time I remember this series, I want to give it a second watch.
