A screen capture of the following recipe: How to make karak chai! This recipe makes three cups of tea! As long as you follow these ratios, you can make as little or as much as you wish. - one teaspoon of sugar per person (or more). - a half cup of water per person. - one teabag per person and then I always add one extra. e.g. four teabags for three people. - a quarter cup of milk per person. - a third cup of evaporated milk per person. Ingredients: 3 teaspoons of sugar 3-4 cardamom pods one and a half cups of water three-quarters cup of milk one cup of evaporated milk Method: Add sugar and cardamom to a saucepan and melt it on a low heat. It burns very quickly, so keep an eye on it. As soon as it changes color, add water. Bring it to a boil while stirring the melted sugar through. Add teabags and boil it on medium heat for 5 minutes. Next add the milk, bring it to a boil, and turn the heat down. Simmer for 5 minutes. Then, add evaporated milk, again bringing it to the boil and then letting it simmer for ten minutes. The longer you boil it, the thicker your tea will be!
