Something that has given me hope is the amount of people I have seen that are continuously making sure to pick others up to make sure that we don’t go quietly into the night, and hopefully we can do the best we can, whatever that may be

Honestly as flawed as FDR was as a person and some of the policies he put forward were, he still did quite a bit to help us and we wouldn’t have a lot of the wonderful things we enjoy like social security or Medicare without him, overall I think he was pretty alright as a president.

I’m really hoping that one day we can have more frequent Coaster and Sprinter service as well as electrified train-sets down here in San Diego county, while both are already pretty good services, they could be SO MUCH BETTER

I think that’s why I’m so excited to see this project fully debut, it’ll be the first example of how long distance HSR can be a thing in the US and can be practical. When the Japanese built the Shinkansen system back in the 60’s it was also way over budget, but no one harps on that nowadays
