(a)(5)(A-B) appear to be within-arm's-reach provisions, and I think the tag clause applies to both -- i.e., only if immediate and successful flight is likely. So "Hi, I'm Sherman Dorn, and I'm in my twelfth year working at ASU" would nullify that, since I'm not a very likely flight risk.

Oh, wow, I didn't know about this.
Unless some child care coops pop up around this, or bosses are tolerant of more remote work, we're going to get some of the same dynamic as 5-6 yrs ago: remote learning isn't just remote learning, it's a broader disruption to families.

As someone who lives in a REAL desert, I have other reasons to argue against the term, if you're curious, but the most important reason is to avoid implying that the absence is there by default, by nature, like a desert.

And... please, please, I urge you not to use the term "news desert" or "______ desert" is a self-defeating substitute for the destruction wrought by public choices. It naturalizes the absence of what SHOULD be there.
