This is wrong on every level. It’s a rigorous process that can take years. Just because a small number of rotten people faked being blind or paralyzed doesn’t mean the system should be gutted or over 9 million veterans getting benefits smeared. This is so dam irresponsible of WaPo.

None of the 15 men sent to the nation are from Eswatini. But they are now under the authority of its king.

This WaPo editorial presents a misleading revisionist history of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s criminal cases against Trump.

Then it has the gall to compare that to Trump’s overt targeting of his perceived enemies.

Really embarrassing stuff.

But the mere fact that a legal tool might be available does not mean it should be used. The
current rage over Grassley's revelation shows why. Smith showed little restraint in his pursuit of a former president. He charged Trump for official acts he took as president. He sought a gag order to limit Trump's ability to criticize the prosecution. He tried to accelerate the case to try a leading presidential candidate before the 2024 election.

I have officially confirmed a meeting with Kirill Dmitriev, Special Envoy to the President of Russia, for later this month.
It is important, not just for my fellow Americans, but to the world, that we continue to foster the relationship and conversations of peace and trade between Russia and the United States as President Trump has so openly called for.
Our two countries do not need to be enemies. Allies in trade benefit everyone. I know I am not the only member of Congress or American who believes that maintaining this open dialogue is essential.
As elected officials, we owe this not just to our own people, but to humanity to ensure that talk of peace and a willingness to extend an olive branch be maintained and never ends, as war is the default to failed policy.
My colleagues and I look forward to this meeting.
