I made these today (except with treacle as in UK) and they are a delicious, perfectly round cookie, just as pictured! Big hit with the family. Thank you for sharing your recipe.🙏

We have jays in our garden. When replacing the wired glass in our front door back to Victorian period stained glass, a wonderful glass artist immortalised them for me.

I saved a charming one when someone else said they hadn't seen any. Hope this helps let you know it's pretty bad out there for our Jewish friends.

Actually I've seen a lot, particularly in the comments under the news reports. Here's a classy example.

Do men still put tiny pieces of toilet paper on their face when they cut themselves shaving, or is that a thing of the past with razors that are self moisturising and multi-bladed?

Same. I used to think the tiny ones would be my parasols. This city of mushrooms used to grow on the wall between me and my neighbours (before they renovated). Not hard to imagine the fairy folk living there in a bustling city.

Harold is a veteran protest dog from a pup. He even has a handmade T-shirt inspired by Woody Guthrie and WWII machinists. He hates climate destruction, inequality, Brexit, racism, facism, war and attacks on women's rights and science. He loves balls and snacks.

Morning birdsong from London. Currently 7 degrees, and heading to a blistering 21 Celsius today; London's parks will be full of people shedding work skins to sunbathe.

I found it quite wearing
today too, and the anxiety about the world doesn't help. I'm sorry to hear about your health and wish you better. Here's my ridiculous crossbreed to bring some light relief (currently hyper focused in an effort to nick my sandwich).
