Browsing is something that I truly enjoy. It is a form of curated curiosity.
(Though it comes with its perils.)

Why would I want AI agents to do it for me? Don't really see the need at this point.

My work involves working with LLM APIs. I was surprised to see even the advanced models (except Claude 3.7) making basic mistakes, such as being unable to perform basic summations. (it was doing 1+2+1+3+2+1 = 11)

It kept on happening time and again.

Choosing between a 5-seater and a 7-seater car? Same question applies to hiring: do you build for average days or peak days?

I explored that in my new blogpost.

Asked ChatGPT and Claude the same question. Their responses were surprisingly different. New post about conversational styles and sitcom wisdom.

R & Positron users, I am facing an issue:

When using R Notebooks (.ipynb) in Positron, I am not getting the autocomplete features that I typically see when working with Python.

Am I missing a setting, or how can I enable this functionality?

West Bengal lost nearly 3 lakh Class 12 students between 2024 and 2025 - a 37% drop in just one year.

I dug into the data to understand why, and ended up with more questions than answers.

My evening runs around western Hyderabad often give me space to think.

One such run made me see how the same shop, same butcher, same cut can belong to two very different Indias.

Wrote about it here.

Thoroughly enjoyed my Vibe coding experience of creating my Semi-professional website.

Bought a domain yesterday.

Though I would assume the experience would have been much more enriching if I had a solid foundation in HTML and CSS. Which I don't, sadly.

I think we should treat people who get scammed and come out and talk about it like heroes. And this is important: no matter how "obvious" the scam might seem in retrospect or from the outside of the community it prey'd on.

The more I look at scams the more I think this is major factor in how […]
