Dog dad. Gooner. World Traveler. Foodie. Bibliophile. Not necessarily in that order.
An astounding and fascinating read for those interested in art, art history, and the monumental genius of Da Vinci.

In this time of so much fear, darkness, and uncertainty, I found this story to be a little Ray of sunshine. Hope you enjoy. There is hope even in dark time.

The emerging faces of heroism in this new, already dark era. This is what the best of organized religion looks like - using the power of the pulpit to spread love, speak truth, protect those who cannot protect themselves, and comfort those in need. #bishopbudde

What an amazing image. Captures the incremental progress of history…and underscores that we are far from finished.

I strongly agree with every word of this. Aside from the accomplishments, aside from the aspirations (met & unmet), the thing I treasure most about President Biden is the sheer decency of the man - a decency that in my view is unsurpassed by any other Chief save Jimmy Carter. Proud to be Team 46.
Opinion | The gratitude we owe to Joseph R. Biden Jr.
For his inclusive nature and his willingness to grow, I thank the president — and you should, too.

Tonite is the first time I have rooted for Washington in an NFL game since Super Bowl XXVI (January 1992). This is a fun, likeable team with a stud rookie QB - I could enjoy the hometown team making a postseason run!!

If Arsenal FC do not, for once, make a significant splash in the January transfer window to bring in a goal scorer then this season is entirely lost.

This seems generally right to me - and I would add Kash Patel to the top of the list of unacceptable nominees. Elections have consequences, so I don’t expect to agree or like the Trump nominees - but there should be guardrails against the truly dangerous. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/int...
Opinion | Which of Trump’s nominees should get confirmed? We made a chart.
The Editorial Board evaluated Trump’s intended Cabinet-level nominees. Only a few should be rejected.
