i love it when you lawsplain to a lawyer! Even better when you do it incorrectly. Of course they will file a defence. it will be short blunt and to the point and most likely seek the claim to be struck out. Existential it ain’t. Goodnight.

a threat to its existence. Which it clearly isn’t because a) it’s a nonsense suit and b) it’s unenforceable anyway (if trump can’t be made to pay his judgments do you really think a foreign broadcasting corporation can?)

The most damning thing though is the lack of any interest/support from national governing bodies in replicating this model nationwide. It constantly bemuses me

i actually am. i had a small part in setting up the CVL after Covid and am delighted it has gone from strength to strength. We still need more courts, mind …..
