Makoto Yukimura was worried that Vinland Saga's farming arc and "I have no enemies" moment was a gamble that readers wouldn't like. I told him about the J. Cole meme from the Kendrick Lamar and Drake rap beef. This is how he reacted.

If “I have no enemies” has become a meme and people remember it, then maybe people will understand what I’m really trying to say through the story, which is that humans are immature, but we can mature. To become mature is to become kind. This is the foundation of what I’m trying to say, but it really has to be much shorter for people to remember. But it does give me hope that people remember these short phrases as memes. Then, one day, it will click in their mind what I was trying to really say in the first place.

Yoru is Power but evil. At this point i call it bs that Yoru only cares because of Asa.

Denji is a degenerate deep down, similar to her. They both murdered innocents in chapter 20p and were having the best time of their lives.

Asa is still a very conservative girl in the way she handles herself. If Asa gets out of this whole Yoru bs, she will at one point snap at Denji who is a manwhore.

I think everyone who follows me should give Watatabe/This Monster Wants to Eat me a try. It's without a shadow of a doubt my favorite ongoing manga.

No shame towards Centuria and Chainsaw Man, but they really can't keep up with what this manga is cooking. Everything about the story is peak.

Around when i started to monthly talk about this series to now, this is probaly the best chapter. The latest two were mainly build up without offering much by themselves, but this is one finally delivered. This manga has me hooked beyond reason now.

What does Azami even wanna do at this point? What's her role? How will she affect the endgame of the manga that is already heading towards a fucking bleak conclusion? WIll she will be of any help, even? I don't know.
