I'm concerned about January. Owners allegedly wanting to throw money around negligently just to "show ambition," coupled with a lame duck manager and no top down vision or strategy other than 'back Frank.' Bigger clubs than Spurs ended up in a complete mess by doing this, most recently Utd with ETH.

It wont reassure you to hear how the criminal placed back in charge of the club described the vision: "I believe blindly in the director-coach relationship : as a director, you have to renounce your footballing ideas to embrace those of the coach you have. My football today is that of Thomas Frank."

We've appointed the managerial equivalent of Jonathan Liew. If ownership actually tried to sabotage the football club on purpose, I don't think they could have accomplished the damage they've done since the summer (although I would argue it started in the January window.) An astonishing achievement

Fans aren't complicit in anything, the board took a decision that was not a consensus at the time and it has failed spectacularly. One mistake is no reason to double down on another and continue with a lame duck. The players do not believe in him, just look at what your eyes are showing you.

I think there was also some business with Chiellini sending WhatsApps to teammates advising them to agree to accept reduced salaries due to COVID but they were going to be paid off the books and a similar sort of thing with monies owed to Ronaldo, all seeming to be at the behest of Fabio and Agnelli

Maybe the start date being after the verdict gives them an out. The last I remember about this case it seemed certain there were going to be convictions to some extent, as some incriminating wire taps were leaked iirc. I doubt anyone will go to jail but had assumed all involved were done in football

Interesting, I thought there was a good chance Paratici would be convicted with this. I wonder if Spurs have got wind of the outcome in advance like when our owner suddenly transferred his shares to a trust before his criminal conviction would have led to him failing the Premier League owners test.

There were 2 separate investigations; one he received a ban for, and the other is still ongoing. The ongoing prisma case relates to criminal charges of fraud (false accounting, misleading investors) and obstructing justice. Prosecutors seeking jail time as far as I remember

"As early as 1933, the Nazi Party began enacting laws that allowed for the relocation of homeless individuals to concentration camps. In 1938, a nationwide raid targeted "asocials," including homeless people, beggars, and the "work-shy," with many being sent to camps like Dachau"

It's not a hunger crisis, it's a final solution. It's not a war, it's a genocide
