I used to be friends with mostly white cis ND queers, and it was such a stiflingly self-righteous atmosphere with little or no concern for groups outside of those axes of marginalization.

I realized I have very little in common with them because people matter more to me than that.

So our carpet cleaning is scheduled for tomorrow and we have to clean absolutely everything off of the floor, and I just happen to be very ill right now.

But I still managed to move an incredibly heavy box of books into the hallway.

Immigrants are part of the conversation on healthcare because the shutdown happened due to Republican lies about undocumented immigrants receiving free health care.

And we're still being erased from the conversation, because we are inconvenient and expendable.

The interesting thing is that the shutdown happened because Republicans were lying about undocumented immigrants being given free healthcare.

So healthcare is a priority, but he's even erasing immigrants from that conversation. He just doesn't care about us.
