@krystalball.bsky.social great push back. He is absolutely incorrect about about them being cogs. The cogs were sent to industrial schools and factories. Universities are a place for new ideas for the betterment of mankind. Universities are the pinnacle of a society’s values and education.

@nytimes.com I love all you do on the podcast and your newspaper but you have a duty in the shadow of Cronkite, Murrow, and Sulzberger to report the facts and to tell the public the truth of where we are. Once we lose freedom of the press and equal governance it as Hudson said “Game over, Man”

@theyoungturks.bsky.social the interview with Lindy Li was eye opening. One thing to note is that the “prize” tiers are akin to the types of prizes you win selling Girl Scout cookies. It’s a bit disingenuous to put this on par with Super PAC donations and the type of power and influence gained.
