In the year 30xx, Government regime divided society into three castes: High Society—the wealthy who sat above everything else; Middle Society—the middle class who worked hard for a living; and Low Society—the poor who were marginalized and victims of the greed of the elites. To the people on the top, life is as easy as turning hands. However, living and working non-stop is hell on earth for those below. Mafuyu Maibara and Haruki Akihara, two girls from different worlds lived their days in the prolonged dystopia. Mafuyu who came from High Society, lives in luxury, had to see the social inequality around her with her own eyes. Haruki, born into poverty has the fortune to escape his home and become the lead singer of a famous girl band, changing her life. Two worlds meet through intertwined destinies. Two opposing sides, yet living within the same cage. A cage where the dream of freedom is nothing but a false hope.
