He didn’t act like wolverine until X2, and even then, it was inconsistent.
For example, Hugh is 6’3” so he doesn’t have that innate short-man syndrome we’ve all come to love from Wolverine.
It’s quite literally his character and we rarely saw it.
But lemme chill, he was good just not great
