ATP other site is just a bad habit I can't kick

Anyway, my point is that though we've had our ups and downs, my girlfriend is someone who I can work through any issue with and I really love her and she makes my life a lot better.

Sorry for being all gushy and stuff lol, I've been single for so long that I kinda forgot what this felt like.

We're still having a hard time financially. It's really rough out here. We're getting kicked out of the apartment by the end of June so we need to find somewhere new to live ASAP, but I have hope we'll find somewhere nice. Currently looking in Wisconsin, but who knows where we'll end up?

We've been more social, lately, like with people who aren't just us. I've been talking to my friends again and even introduced her to them. We've been having some nights where we hang out with her/our friends as well. Everything kind of feels okay, and it feels like it'll actually stay that way.

But things are getting better. She moved in back in October, we've been going on dates and stuff, we are officially calling each other "girlfriend" now... The situation is still a little complicated than I'm letting on but it feels like we're approaching a point of stability, and it feels good.

It's been a journey, for sure. The entirety of 2024 was pretty much all about getting to know her better and better and strengthening our bond, and it took a while to strike a balance. I've been neglectful to my friends as a result, and I feel ashamed and sorry about that.

I never really saw myself as the type to be able to hold onto a relationship.

My longest relationships have all lasted just a few months at best, a few weeks at worst. I always thought the problem was with me, but I guess it's just as simple as having never met the right person until now.

Homestuck used to be like that too. Cotton candy, pumpkin patch, harley davidson, pepsicola, communism, meowrails... Now you just mash their names together and call it a day.
