it used to be punk before the technology to do hyperpop and the post-y2k gamer-raver aesthetic came though. notable exceptions are Eli (Girl of Your Dreams is fun and poppy), Jamie Paige (the whole Constant Companions album is insanely good), and Odyssey Eurobeat. all non-hyperpop transfemme music!
