It was obvious before as well. This Government hasn't exactly shown massive bravery on some very big issues - corruption, gambling, housing crisis & climate amongst the main ones.

Won't improve either, this project made it clear in its own review pre foregone conclusion rubber stamp that it would worsen traffic and conditions on the key north / south corridors (Millers Rd & Williamstown Rd).

People deciding that doors should open without looking near the Village and drivers who don't look before changing lanes to turn elsewhere. It's honestly just too busy, too much parking and too many people stressed by both to ride safely. Closing Anderson St at the crossing will help a lot IMO.

Staggering to me still how slow we are going with electrification. Even parking the environmental concerns with fuel, given our complete ambivalence about fuel security would think we would be all over detaching ourselves from global fuel shock ASAP.
