The only time I've ever felt really uncomfortably in a otome game was Jumins route in MM but I'll be sure to check out the link to get an idea of what i'm going into. tysm for letting me know! :)

oh man thats kinda crazy but I had a feeling from the opening scene that it might be a reoccurring thing. ty for letting me know 😭. My friend who's dragging me back into utapri had only played the games with QN in it so I know legit nothing about this one and just grabbed the first rom i could find-

like if it's gonna go into a really serious discussion about how the MC will do just about anything to be seen in life, still not the best way to open with that. If it's just the translator missing the mark on the tone of this interaction, then well...damn.

I still don’t like the main theme for this one being implied that it’s aerith singing when it doesn’t sound like her at all. End of the day it’s maybe a 6.5/10. 7/10 if I wanna be corny. Don’t think I’ll ever replay it or go back to the side quests. Now that I’m done I can start Tactics

I thought the scene where cloud and aerith are out and every choice cloud makes he doesnt get was a *little* meh right before the lost city but I like that foreshadowed the sort of real meaning of her death.

Thr ending cutscene looked very beautiful though I will say. Cloud seeing the reflection of himself in the white materia. It felt like playing an old FF game when they switched to the pre rendereds. I like the subtle stuff like aerith not liking the sky in part 1 followed by pt2s “don’t look up” >>>

I rewatched advent children twice in once day and loved DoC. I got both copies of AC and know the changes in each. I have those fuckass Playart Kai figures. My first cosplay was FFVII. That’s how serious I am rn. Not even the allure of seeing my favs in Ultra HD could help me w this. I wanna like it
