So it turns out the difficult part isn’t convincing people that its art, it’s that it’s so different than most other digital arts that comparisons are useless, and they have no reference for the time and effort it takes to make a piece. It’s the skill set that doesn’t translate, not the art itself

Transformative (drag-and-drop) dolling is so niche nowadays that I’m afraid to interact with other digital artists. I know what I do is real art, but what if they don’t see it like that? What if they dismiss it because I use dollmaker base as my canvas and draggies instead of a pen? I feel so alone
