Looks like it peaked in 2012.

Honestly I found this so amusing that I think I'm actually going to get it myself.

That's exactly why mine's titled "Lord Swiffington".

Well, this is awkward...

And I ended the year by modeling, 3D-printing, and painting a few props from the game "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided", since making the coat got me in the mood for reifying more objects from that setting. #deusex #dxmd

In mid-December, I updated my collection of screwdrivers with the Fourteenth Doctor's. Okay, I didn't really make anything in the photo this year, but it brought me a sense of satisfaction to rearrange them all to make room. (I had previously made five screwdrivers, plus the case itself.) #doctorwho

Backtracking a bit to mid-October, when I took a break from sewing to adorn a briefcase to go with the coat, since the backpack I'd been carrying to work didn't really work well with it. (Sarif Industries was the company Adam Jensen worked for in "Deus Ex: Human Revolution".) #deusex #dxhr

During the summer, I replayed "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided", and once again wished I could have the protagonist's coat. So I started making it in early July, and finished by late November. #deusex #dxmd

In late April, I finally got around to finishing a #Fallout3 PIP-Boy that I'd modeled, printed, and begun painting some time ago. Nearly all the screens are reproduced, selected via the buttons and selector knob; all driven by an Arduino Nano.

In mid-April, my wife and I planned to attend C2E2 in #starwars Jedi costumes, so I modeled, 3D-printed, painted, and assembled the electronics for my lightsaber. (And then we tested positive for COVID the morning of the con, so maybe it'll debut next year instead.)

In early April, we went to see the eclipse. Pictures don't capture the eerie feeling, but they last longer than memory.

In January and February, I mostly modeled and 3D-printed accessories for my wife's new hermit crabs. Zoidberg really enjoyed the exercise wheel... until he went under the sand, changed his pants to a bigger size, and came out as more of a couch potato.

For eight years I've wanted to buy the protagonist's coat from the computer game "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided". I got tired of waiting, and made it myself instead.
