Thanks for writing this. I've been struggling with how to effectively use Claude Code in my local environment. Other guides I've read seem contradictory in their proposed workflows (ie the content of AGENTS.MD, why & where you should be using plan mode, etc).

I dislike managed services that are stack-specific (vercel, forge, etc) so I tend to stick with docker. Even when deploying single binaries I like having the benefits of things like volumes and isolated networking.

I had this too! While the C64 cover art was much cooler than Sega version, having to wait around 30 minutes to load the game from *cassette* was much less cool.
