What are your first four Commander decks?

It just stopped being fun to pilot when people would elect to use their removal to kill Archelos for no other reason than being annoyed rather than because they needed their stuff to enter untapped, especially when other players presented threats that could easily go lethal by their next turn.

Over time the deck has been torn between playing fun jank and getting really cutthroat with Cyclonic Rifts and stuff like flickering Eternal Witness to get back counterspells. It became too mean to hang with casual decks, but too unwieldy to play with more competitive tables...

Problem is, the deck has always had to struggle with being a deck that takes turn cycles to get off the ground while also attracting a lot of hate due to Archelos' ability. Over time I started adding more control pieces to maintain the game pace I wanted—especially with Archelos being a big target.

In the process, it also became a vehicle deck due to the Crew ability providing my a way to ready my Inspired creatures at instant speed, and I built the deck to find and make the most of vehicles, and pairing it with cards like Quest for Renewal or Intruder Alarm to get that trigger off every turn.

I built this deck to take advantage of the Inspired mechanic from Theros by using Archelos to allow them to enter tapped. Powerful removal or tutors like Macar or Disciple of Deceit that are too slow to go off normally now enter primed to trigger, sometimes immediately thanks to Amulet of Vigor!

One of my first homebrews was Archelos, Lagoon Mystic—a deck I'm still very proud of, but has faced a lot of identity and power level issues as I've gotten better at building decks.
