Hit a fun milestone on my NYT crossword account yesterday! I've used it for almost five years of solving together with friends; as you can see we aren't particularly concerned with daily streaks as much as just having fun and using the archives. 😄

Years ago I bought this used copy of The C Programming Language (K&R) that had been doodled in. So if I ever flip through for reference (like today) there's a chance I'm met by the enigmatic gazes of the File Access Triplets. I hope the original programmer-artist is doing well wherever they are! 🎨

Just finished swapping in all Eldraine basic lands for Ellivere; laying them out nicely is soooo satisfying.
I am convinced at this point my MTG decks are (healthy??) outlets for my obsession with matching and organization as much as they are meant for playing the actual game. 😅

Coincidentally, it looks like I just hit the 1000 hour mark in VRC! As they say, I've now "finished the tutorial." 🎊🤭
Initially I had a tiny pang of shame seeing that play time number, but that's such a silly feeling. It's a hobby I enjoy greatly, and thus I make time for it; simple as that.

More progress on my #Novabeast! Bought some assets: a buffalo plaid flannel shirt (one of my favorite real shirts I own), new hair, glasses, and chest fur. I made a new blendshape for the chest fur so that it can flow naturally with the shirt on or off. 😊

I couldn't resist! Time to cook up a #Novabeast. 😅 Took a first stab at recoloring with my favorite palette; it needs plenty of refinement but I'm pretty excited to work more on it. The PSD files are wicked easy to work with, and I'm very grateful for that 🙏
