He/Him. Gamer. Nerd.
I used to feel like I had a moral obligation to be constantly engaged with everything going on out there. Everyday I was a little angrier and a little sadder.

Had to realize it's okay to prioritize my own mental well being and step away when I need to. Just too much going on out there.

The company I work for is having our benefits meeting tomorrow. They usually try to hype it up, but all they'll say this year is it's going to be much more expensive and they won't be contributing to our HSA's anymore.

If we get any more great, people won't be able to survive.

I'm familiar with what it feels like to mourn for the things that didn't happen or didn't work out the way you planned.

It can definitely be overwhelming. Hope you are able to find some peace today.

It'll still sell out. That's all Buisness Daddy Hasbro cares about.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that less than half of the sets printed next year are going to be In-universe sets.

This warrior ethos thing sounds like the kind of bullshit you'd hear from a basement-dwelling neckbeard weeb.

No animal pictures, but I hope today is treating you better and you're able to get some R&R.

I wish they had half as much outrage when kids get shot that they do when rich white men get shot.

Congrats! I know it's a lot of work to make that kind of progress.

Supposedly the Boo app was made for people with more "nerdy" interests. Can't say I've noticed much of a difference.

Definitely been times in my life when I wish someone had given me that advice.

Don't know what it is about the middle of the night that makes a bad idea look so good.

It can be rough out there when you're trying to find someone.

I don't know you personally, but you seem like a genuinely good, kind person. I'm sure you'll find someone who treats you the way you deserve to be treated.

This was a pleasantly positive message to see on the timeline this morning.

Hope you have someone telling you the same.

Seems like a good way to start the day.

Same, homie.

I've been a fan of your content for a long time. Never noticed what he's describing.

Also, that's just a strange/shitty thing to send to someone.

Assumed internet anonymity makes people do weird stuff.

It's a little crazy how relevant a book can be 40 years after its publication.

Not a memoir, but I feel "Amusing ourselves to Death" by Neil Postman should be required reading.

Can't justify the cost, probably going to pass on it.

This popped up on my PC just after I posted my other comment.
Trump Shocks With Massive New Tariffs That Could Make The Switch 2 Cost More Than $600
A series of 'Liberation Day' tax hikes could upend the Switch 2 launch in the U.S.

The fomo is real.

But between the price of the console and what I'm see reported for the price of games, I don't think I can justify it. Might be the first Nintendo console I take a pass on.

One would hope so. Worst case scenario it's listed as an asset to sell off during bankruptcy proceedings and is sold to the highest bidder.

Late to the party on this post, but it echos some of my thoughts exactly.

It's a shame. With returning to Tarkir and Lorewyn in the next year, I should be excited. Now I'm somewhere between indifferent and sad.

I'm the same way with modern. Saves me money, at least.

I will never financially recover from this.
