I love cyclamens partly for their unique leaf shape and eye-popping colors, like this one. It is a pity they are toxic to humans and pets, as are many other attractive flowers!

For #MagentaMonday, some New Guinea Impatiens I saw during my walk in the neighborhood. In USDA hardiness zones 10-12, which are frost-free, they can bloom year-round.
They are also called "jewelweeds" for a good reason.🎀

“A bud is a flower-to-be. A flower in waiting. Waiting for just the right warmth and care to open up.”

Who is getting your care and warmth?

Some buds from my garden from the spring seasons past.

Some lovely echinaceas/coneflowers from a neighbor's front yard that I snapped in the summer of 2024. I had an Apple iPhone SE (1st Gen) at the time, and I am quite pleased with how these turned out. Something to do with the beauty of the subjects?

The sun shines wherever your heart feels open. ☀️

Is it orange or is it yellow? No matter what the color is, sunflowers never fail to cheer us up. Check out that visitor!🌻
This one from Gamble Garden, Sept. 25.

A lovely calendula flower in the process of flowering. A beautiful sight, just as wondrous as seeing my grandchildren blossom and coming into their own.
