Learned a thing about a coworker:
He brings cereal & milk to work in the mornings (fine, normal). He pours the milk into the cereal before he leaves his house (weird, it'll get soggy??). But no, it won't have time to get too soggy because he EATS IT WHILE STANDING UP ON THE SUBWAY TRAIN (UNHINGED)

Finally getting back into swimming after like 3 years, and obviously I'm going to be slower than where I left off, but OOF. My cruising speed 100m split is at least 15 seconds behind where it used to be. Brutal

It was so good!! A++ floating, hasn't changed very much. All the same tanks, similar vibe, no added claims that they'll cure all your illnesses. Definitely obvious they're still revitalizing a space that was closed for 2 years (needs some more cleaning and airing out), but I think they'll get there
It's under new management, so it's possible it won't be good anymore, but I'm being hopeful!! Booked an appointment, so I'll find out on Saturday

Current verdict on the new bubble tea place: mixed feelings
I got the peach lemon oolong. Excellent flavor, fresh boba with great texture. BUT the pieces of peach were too large to fit through the straw, so I had to wait until I finished the drink and then fish them out which was strange

It's being turned into a different bubble tea franchise, so like net zero change in bubble tea I guess. But the new place is fancier and more expensive and has a weirdly heavy focus on floral flavors and I don't like it ugghghhhhhg
