Proud but disillusioned former latchkey kid—trying to find the perfect work/life/fighting fascism balance so I can make the world better for my badass GenZ and GenA girls.
I saw someone holding up a sign that said "This Is Not Normal" so there is at least some resistance going on. My own senator is holding a virtual town hall that I am attending as we speak.

I'm watching @wyden.senate.gov on his Oregon virtual town hall!

I love this for us!

Mobilize. We have an exhausted and disillusioned "resistance". This lack of democratic leadership contributes to the disillusionment. If just a few leaders—either past or current—spoke up, it would make a huge difference.

Elon Musk is a prime example of that. The eternal high school pick-me nerd.

I begrudgingly agree with you. I hope we can get back to open discourse between both sides because it's the people at the top who are the enemy. And when I get over my anger, I'll join the conversation.

There is a reason people left X to come here.

Not real.

Not real. This is the whole post. Read the bottom.

It's a parody. This person cut out the part that states this
February 10, 2025 at 3:56 AM
This was not a real post from DJT. You cut out the bottom part. It's not helpful to infuriate people for no reason.
February 10, 2025 at 3:54 AM
Thank you... Please don't let up on Elon.

Don't these people realize how creepy "Daddy's home" sounds? Especially coming from a 70-year-old man like Mel Gibson.

At least I won't have to worry about my daughter being drafted since women won't be allowed in the military anymore.

53 with two daughters here. We have a lot to fight for!

It's okay. I get the frustration of feeling like nobody is doing anything, and definitely I shouldn't be arguing with people who are on the same side as me! As you know, it's been an intense week. I'm feeling pretty frayed, which means I probably shouldn't be making comments! 😊 Sorry about that.

My response was meant for Coolafboomermom who said people were apathetic AF. I had no problem at all with your suggestion of a general strike. It irked me to see her coming down so hard on people for being unwilling or unable.

My apologies. That comment truly wasn't meant for you.

OR... Maybe that's not an option for the many people who are already living hand-to-mouth. A lot of people care a lot but don't have the luxury of going without and/or not providing for family. Calling them apathetic is an extremely privileged statement.

I actually just saw this post saying that both Apple and Microsoft are resisting letting go of DEI. Seems to cobtradict the donations (and attendance) at the inauguration. So yeah. I guess it remains to be seen! Makes me wonder if 🍊 has something on them. www.nytimes.com/2025/01/22/b...

Apple and Google CEOs each donated $1 million to Trump's inauguration and went to the inauguration along with the rest of the tech bros. I love Goods Unite Us, but it's out-of-date.
