Doesn’t help when people constantly accuse the government of being ‘too late’. It’s never too late to call out hate and sometimes a measured, considered response is better than a knee jerk reaction.

Because Trump who has done far, far worse is on his way to the UK to meet our King. The whole situation is beyond warped now. We also need to know what else Mandelson has done with Epstein.

Would this raise enough to make a difference? Genuinely asking.

You’re the definition of a troll. And you don’t speak for the majority of Britain. Most people are decent, normal, compassionate and wouldn’t mind one way or the other where this couple chose to live. People like you are fortunately in the minority. I’m replying to your comments, not bullying.

They’re not returning though are they so why do you feel the need to constantly bully them online? I don’t care much for many of the other royals who appear to do v little but I’m not interested in trolling them and I do contribute to their lifestyle. Be better.

Prince Harry was born royal which can never change. They’re not asking you to pick up their bills or anyone else so why are you so invested in their business?

What a foolish comment. These two actually work and earn their own money. You’re just a bullying troll who needs to focus on their own life.

This. Unfortunately.

Netanyahu is a law unto himself and cannot be stopped by a tiny country like the UK. The US takes the blame for his reckless behaviour, not Starmer who at least is willing to recognise Palestine.

Meltdown? Hardly. Labour are not perfect but doing a good job in many areas.

It’s an actual sickness now.

It would be great if further education was free as it was when I went to uni but I doubt if those days can ever return. But reducing loans for doctors who are uniquely essential would be a good move.
July 17, 2025 at 7:43 PM
Yes, that’s the term used. Let’s not get too petty, you know what it means in this context. I think doctors should have all debt forgiven in stages, the longer they work in the NHS. Could be one way of retaining doctors.
July 17, 2025 at 5:08 PM
No we’re not but we’re not awash with money either. Doctors will get the increases they need and deserve but it will take time. By striking they will push waiting lists up again. We’re on their side but the government can only do so much in one budget. Give them time.
July 17, 2025 at 12:41 PM
It is. However, that’s year one and salaries do increase year on year along with experience and responsibility.
July 17, 2025 at 11:48 AM
To be fair, it’s over the odds. Around £18 an hour in London is the going rate. So I’m guessing £25 an hour includes the agency fee.
July 17, 2025 at 11:46 AM
Completely agree Mark. We all want doctors to earn more but surely they need to understand pay restoration cannot be achieved immediately? They received 22% last year and an offer over 5% this year is more than most are getting. When the economy grows, new pay deals can be struck.

Yet we didn’t vote for a socialist party. We voted for a centrist party and we got what we voted for.

Where did you get that idea from? No NDA. Harry got an apology which he’d asked for for years. It paves the way for a police investigation, if the Met has the guts. The money is icing on the cake. He’ll need it for the upcoming Mail trial..

I wonder…? It’s a mystery.
