It's been almost a decade since we've seen the Eternal Wanderer and crew suit up for a game of Universus. Well next month, they're back. Street Fighter 6 Challenger Decks hit the shelves on July 18th. I'll be bringing the analysis closer to launch, but for now here's what to expect.

One of the most iconic mechanics in all of Fighting Games is the Reversal. Tekken. Guilty Gear. Street Fighter. Just a few titles that remind players, it's not what moves you throw, it's what blows you land! Universus has had a long history with the Reversal keyword going back to the days of Soul Caliber 3 and Street Fighter 20 years ago.

If you want to make it to a regional, you'll have to make those plans early. UVS Games has been making upgrades to their Organized Play events for years now. The prize wall is being loaded up. Championship belts are awarded to nationals winners. There are cosplay competitions and scavenger hunts. Going to a regional keeps getting better and better. So, has it helped?

Universus fans have been clammoring for this one for a long time. Every time a conversation pops up about "What should be the next UVS IP?," someone always mentions TMNT. Well now the dream has become a reality and we've gotten one step closer. The sell sheets and initial trailer have been released on the UVS Games website and they give us a peak into what we can expect.
