In this tone: VNs IN GENERAL should not be about the visuals, but the STORY. When an FVN uses the "visuals" part (and music!) to supplement the intended emotion but not as a full on plot crutch it boosts the experience, not replacing it. That's what I like to see and why I've become a fan of them.

This is why I love visual novels. There are some out there that hit those tones of beauty in their own way. I want more like them, but I like when they have different styles; The variation sparks different emotions. Visual novels have the ability for ambience novels can't do. Use it elegantly!!!

I've noticed patterns in FVN criticism suggesting that all FVNs should be written in similar ways, i.e. in conversational, easily-accessible prose, like how one might text or chat with one's buddies. The problem I see with this kind of feedback is that it forgets the "N" part of FVN: Novel. (1/10)

Finally home from Anthrocon. For my first con, definitely not ready for how big it was because lmao introverted tendencies, but I loved the vibe. I think I'd like to travel to more cons in the future.
